Briefly tell us about yourself, sir....
My name is Hunton Gbetoyon George. I was born in Yafin Kingdom, Badagry, Lagos State. I attended L.A. Primary School, Yafin, from 1990 to 1996, then proceeded to Government College, Ajara Badagry, where I studied from 1996 to 2002.
After my secondary education, I ventured into business specifically clearing and forwarding under my registered company, Geohunt Enterprise. In 2022, I enrolled at Lagos State University of Education to pursue my degree.
Your journey is truly inspiring.
Thank you.
While pursuing my degree, I contested for the councillorship position of Ward H (Yafin/Salu) and won. And here we are today.
With your current position as a grassroots lawmaker, how do you plan to change the legislative narrative from what it used to be?
I'm not God, but I trust that with God on my side, there will be positive changes during my tenure.
What advice would you like to give to the people of Badagry and your ward as this new administration begin?
Politics is a game of chance, and life itself is symbiotic. I encourage everyone both men and women to actively participate in politics. In today’s world, you often have to pass through the corridors of politics to achieve meaningful goals.
Lastly, who would you like to appreciate?
Politics today is truly a government of the people, by the people, and for the people. I’d like to express my deepest gratitude to Hon. Olusegun Adeniran Onilude Teliat (our Apex Leader), Pa Moses Ogunbiyi, LGA Chairman Gafaru Meyon, Hon. Babatunde Athande Hunpe, Hon. Genesis, Alhaji Hodonu Skirt Nunayon, High Chief Hunton Gbewato John, Pot Balogun Salam, Kriko, Samuel, LGA Secretary, Krape Sewedo, and many others. Thank you all for your immense support.
