In a time when results are the loudest language of leadership, Hon. Princess Olabisi Adebajo speaks volumes. As the Executive Chairman of Mosan-Okunola LCDA, her journey has been marked by vision, impact, and solid dedication to community growth.
Speaking exclusively to The Root Gazette Africa, Princess Adebajo opened up about her passion for public service and the strides made since she assumed office.
“From a young age, I’ve always had the desire to positively impact my community,” she said. “Looking back now, I’m deeply fulfilled by the visible changes and the lives we’ve touched.”
Indeed, her administration has made significant inroads in transforming the local council, with major milestones that reflect both purpose and performance.
Highlights of her achievements include:
Massive Road Construction Projects that have improved transportation and connectivity across various communities.
People-Centered Empowerment Initiatives that have provided skills, capital, and hope to women, youths, and small business owners.
Revitalization of the Health Sector, ensuring residents have access to better medical services and facilities.
Construction of a Modern Two-Storey Administrative Complex, furnished with state-of-the-art equipment, designed to improve the efficiency and comfort of government operations.
For Princess Adebajo, development is not just about buildings and policies it’s about people. And it is this human centered approach that continues to shape her vision for leadership.
When asked about the legacy she hopes to leave behind, she emphasized a future where equity, education, and accessible healthcare are not privileges but rights.
“I want to inspire a generation of women leaders who will carry forward a culture of integrity, inclusivity, and accountability,” she said. “Leadership should be about service, not self.”
To young women looking to walk the path of politics, her advice was both earnest and empowering:
“Build your confidence. Speak up, believe in your potential, and never shy away from challenges. Equip yourself with knowledge, seek out mentors, surround yourself with those who uplift and challenge you. And most importantly, remain true to your values authenticity is the heartbeat of lasting leadership.”
As the political climate continues to evolve, voices like Hon. Olabisi Adebajo’s stand out not for noise, but for the quiet power of impact, courage, and community first governance.
