In a candid conversation with The Root Gazette Africa Magazine, Ambassador Comrade Isesele Kelvin Aigbokhan-Bossu shared his transformative journey from the quiet community of Ugbokhare in Irrua, Esan Central LGA of Edo State, to becoming a respected entrepreneur and public figure across West Africa.

As the Founder and CEO of Kelboss Resources West Africa, and MD of Bossu Concepts Marketing and Distribution Ltd., Ambassador Aigbokhan-Bossu has built a name rooted in resilience, innovation, and tenacity. His rise was not without trials. “The defining moment in my life was realizing I had no shoulder to lean on,” he shared. “I understood early that if I didn’t take charge of my life, no one else would.” It was this moment of clarity that shaped his philosophy: stay focused, be consistent, and take ownership of your destiny.

For the Edo-born business leader, his personal life and career are one and the same. “My business is my life. I think, strategize, and execute daily to stay relevant and useful,” he explained.

When asked about role models, Aigbokhan-Bossu's spiritual depth came to the fore. “God is my ultimate model. However, I draw inspiration from people like General Cecil Esekhaigbe (PhD, rtd) and Jim Ovia, whose lives speak of discipline, impact, and purpose.”

As a message to the next generation, he emphasizes kindness, sincerity to humanity, and living within one’s means. “Be content. Keep 80% of your success to yourself. Let your legacy be quiet, yet powerful.”

From the streets of Irrua to boardrooms across West Africa, Ambassador Aigbokhan-Bossu represents a new kind of leadership grounded, visionary, and deeply human.
