During a recent audience at the regal palace, Commissioner Ogunlende received accolades for his unwavering dedication to addressing the needs of Badagry's youth and people. The monarch, echoing the sentiments of the community, expressed profound appreciation for the array of youth empowerment programs and social development initiatives spearheaded by the commissioner. "Your dedication to the well-being of our youth and the overall development of our community is truly commendable," remarked Oba Adeshina, underscoring the transformative impact of Ogunlende's endeavors.

Commissioner Ogunlende's proactive stance in tackling the challenges faced by Badagry's youth has not gone unnoticed. In alignment with the THEMESPlus development agenda of Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, Commissioner Ogunlende embarked on an extensive inspection tour of youth centers and an elderly people's home across Badagry Division. From the bustling Oto-Awori Youth Centre in Shibiri to the serene confines of the Elderly People's Home in Iworo, Ogunlende and his dedicated team meticulously assessed existing infrastructure, engaging with staff members and beneficiaries to identify areas for enhancement.

The ongoing inspection tour, spanning 17 out of 35 youth centers across the state, underscores Commissioner Ogunlende's unwavering commitment to youth empowerment and social inclusivity. His initiatives reflect a collective resolve to forge a brighter future for the youth and elderly, nurturing an inclusive and equitable society for all Lagosians.

In a remarkable milestone, Commissioner Ogunlende, also the Pioneer of Real Acts of Kindness (RAK) Development Foundation, marked a significant achievement with the commissioning of a water project in Esepe community, Olorunda LCDA, Badagry. Facilitated by RAK Foundation and generously sponsored by Panju Foundation BCIE Limited, the project signifies a crucial step towards providing clean and accessible water to the residents of Esepe and its environs.



During the commissioning ceremony, Commissioner Ogunlende emphasized the importance of community ownership, urging residents to safeguard and maintain the facility for its longevity. This transformative initiative, featuring a borehole and water treatment facilities, holds the promise of enhancing the quality of life for residents, symbolizing a beacon of hope for sustainable development and community prosperity.
