Can we meet you sir?

I am Prophet Dr. Daniel Adewale Adesanya (JP), a fellow Royal Society of Public Health, Provost and Chairman Governing Council Royal Institute of Health Technology Ifo, Chairman Governing Council Royal College of Education, Chairman Governing Council Royal Priesthood College of Theology, and Chairman Association of Public Health Physicians of Nigeria, Ogun State Chapter.

Kindly share with us how you balance your commitment in the ministry and your career as a professional doctor.

On the 14th of January 2024, I will be celebrating 10years of installation as a Bishop and Chairman Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Palace of Grace District, Adegbaju, Ifo.

I have always been an active Medical practitioner with a bias in Public Health. Since 1994, I have been privileged to Government Institutions and for 18 years I was a chief consultant, and I spent another 6 years as Head of Local Government, I even acted as Chairman Ifo Local government for a few months in the year 2019.

I have been practicing actively as a Prophet for over 30years, in between, I served as Supervising Prophet for 15years in Ogun State, Assistant Secretary of Council of Prophets at the International level for 8 years. In all these there has never been conflict of roles or conflict of interest. God has made everything simple and easy. No stress from any angle, family, church, office, private medical practice or even teaching. I love teaching a lot.

Within that period, I was at a time an associate lecturer at the College of Medicine at Ogun State University and also an associate lecturer at the School of Postgraduate Studies, at the National Open University of Nigeria. God blessed me with so many clinical skills and spiritual abilities to the extent that I discharge my duties without going through any stress. I don't need to visit any mountain or fast for months before God answers me. I had a covenant with God on the 12th of September 1991 and since then I have learned to put my trust in Him. I was called and the call was confirmed by various offices as early as the late 80s when I was called by God as a prophet I went into prayers and requested signs from God that He had called me into the office of a prophet. I saw a lot of signs, some were terrifying and some were surprising. There was a time when I left the church for my house. I was in Ogun State University Agowoye, and I was the third set of the University. I went home to pick a hymn book. When I was leaving the church there was heavy rainfall but surprisingly, I went home and came back, the rain was still falling but no single drop came on me, it was when I got back to the church I realized the rain didn't touch me without using an umbrella or whatever. I was amazed and knew God was working with me. I got another sign which was a surprising one. I wanted to use the toilet, our toilet was and so I had to use the bush. While trying to get up I tried to support myself by placing my hand on a tree close by, I noticed something kept pushing my hand, and when I raised my head I realized I was holding the head of a snake and it didn't harm me. I have a lot to talk about. There was a patient I treated when I was in the State Hospital, Ilaro in 1992, and this patient, God, had already given me a revelation about her. I told her that she was going to have paralysis (emi-paralysis) . The upper limb and lower limb of one side went off. We treated this lady for three months at the hospital and she didn't get well so one day I was told to pray for her which I did, she was brought to my house. I prayed for 30 minutes and she got healed, up till date she is doing fine and everything is working well to the Glory of God.

Can you elaborate on your past experiences as a religious leader and highlight specific instances where you navigated challenges to inspire and guide your congregation during difficult times in Christendom?

I bless God for the gift He has given me. I can remember a woman I met, she had been married for 8 years and had never been pregnant all her life (before and even in marriage). I was told by God to pray for her, five months later, she got pregnant and is doing fine. I bless God for that.

There are so many stories to talk about. There was a lady in my church in 2011 and this lady had been married for 10 years, we've treated her and she was not getting any better. Then the Lord told me she was pregnant. She told me she was seeing her period and it was not possible for her to be pregnant, just since that was what the Lord told me, I told her to go for a test and it came out positive. She has her children now. There was also a woman whom the Lord told me was pregnant even though she was menstruating to the Glory of God she put to bed despite all medical diagnoses.

This is not to say there have been no challenges, we have seen people who said the miracles performed are not straightforward, that they are diabolical. People have said one thing or the other out of jealousy but then I'm not disturbed/perturbed by them. To the glory of God, we are doing fine and moving forward and the church of God is moving forward too.

I must confess to you that today to date the foundation of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Palace of Grace was a miraculous one, the headquarters was built within 30 working days and the Lord was so good to us. We did not plan to have a district from the beginning but the Lord gradually led us to that level. The Lord commanded me to build five prayer houses by myself and to the glory of God the fifth is being built as we speak.

The first is in Adegbaju Ifo, the second one is in Ilashe Ikpokia local government, the third is in Ayetoro Iyewa local government, the fourth is in Shaje in Abeokuta, and the fifth is in Ilogbo Ado-odo Ota local government. The fifth one is going to be commissioned by His grace the spiritual Father on the 13th of January 2024 as one of the programs to commemorate our 10th anniversary.

We thank God for giving me the skill of preaching and we have been able to preach the word of God all over the world. We have a branch in Virginia in the United States and to God be the glory, within 10 years of our existence we already have over 24 branches out of which I built five (5) and the sixth is coming on board soon, it is located in Itori in Ewekoro local government.

Recently, I introduced a scheme to assist the poor. All that is needed to be qualified is to be poor but make sure you have the zeal to work. A few weeks ago we distributed close to a million to members of the church to assist them in their businesses. This we have been doing physically. We have also given scholarships to some students to study in schools of their choice and we also give free treatment to some members of the general public and some members of our church who cannot get themselves treated. We do all these to encourage them to remain in the Lord and be prayerful.

To the glory of God, we have been able to achieve a lot of that.

Sir tell us about the Royal college of health institute.

Talking about the Royal Institute of Health Technology. I always tell people, that we God calls you, you are reaping more from it than what God gets to gain from it. Because it was a spiritual skill that got us to where we are today. I got a revelation as far back as 1996 to move to Ifo and I settled in Ifo in 1998. God told me to set up a College of Health Technology in 1998 it was impossible. I didn't even go into until 2008 which was 10 years later. Immediately we started God began to show up and here we are today. At the Royal Institute of Health Technology, we have full accreditations for over 15 programs, we have been given recognition by the National Board for Technical Education and as of today Royal Institute of Health Technology has over 1500 students, we started with just 69 students. We are doing very fine and God has been so good to us. And when we discovered we had been able to settle properly at the Royal Institute of Health Technology we then set up the Royal College of Education.

Presently, the Royal Institute of Health Technology is in partnership with Kwara State University to award degrees in public health, Health Education, and Environmental Health in addition to the professional courses that we offer. In the Royal College of Education, we have full accreditation of the National Commission for Colleges of Education and we are also affiliated with Lagos State University for the award of degrees in the field of education.

Presently, we are not exactly calling ourselves a University but of course this is an institute or college that awards degrees in addition to professional certificates. So we are leading the country in the provision of middle-level manpower in the field of Health Education. We intend to do more.

We train servants of God at the Royal Priesthood College of Theology. Here we award degrees to those who are interested. We do that in such a way that we give degrees in Theology alongside Religion Studies.

Thank you and God bless you.
